INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Professor Giglio’s unique background in business, public policy, and finance is rooted in his experience in Wall Street, in public service, in management consulting, and in academia. He served as Executive Vice President at Smith Barney, President of Chase Securities, and Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co. He also served as Chairman of Apogee Research, a leading infrastructure consulting firm. Professor Giglio held a series of senior management positions with the Federal Government and with both the City and State of New York.
He served as chairman of President Reagan’s National Council on Public Works Improvement and chaired the U.S. Senate Budget Commission on Innovative Financing of Infrastructure. Professor Giglio served as chairman of the board for the Intelligent Transportation Society of American and as special counselor to the Office of the Secretary of Transportation. Additionally, he served as vice chairman of the Hudson Institute, a leading public policy organization in Washington, D.C. and a board member of the Pioneer Institute. He has sat on the board of a number of public and private corporations.Professor Giglio authored five books, authored and co-authored over a dozen academic journal articles and has been a columnist for Gatehouse Media, Inc. for eight years and has written over 200 columns on a wide range of subjects.

Professor Giglio has research and teaching interests in Capital Markets, Privatization, Technology, Transportation, and Strategy.
